He even went as far as calling me a few times prior to the wedding to make sure I was ok, since it was supposed to be a hurricane the day of our wedding! "We used DJ Alan Boyle with Choice Entertainment. We found the company through an internet search and called Alan first because his name was first on the list. After one conversation with him, I just felt he would be perfect. Alan is from England (as is a lot of my family), so his accent definitely helped. :) He is wonderfully helpful. He gathers a list of your "must play" and "must not play" songs at least one month before the event and anything he does not have, he will happily download prior to the event. My husband and I wanted to feature our own mix of music during the dinner hour, so Alan played a CD that we mixed on our own. When the dinner hour ran over, he smoothly transitioned to music that was of a similar style so as not to take away from our own choice of music. We asked him not to be one of those "MC" types that yells at and interacts with the crowd, and he completely followed our request. I was very particular about my "must not play" list, and Alan even went so far as to deny a request my friend made at the wedding because he thought my husband and I might not approve! He was dressed professionally in a tuxedo and did a wonderful job. So wonderful, in fact, that our friends have booked him already for their wedding in July. :) " Blair and Jared June 2008
